Sadly, "impossible" is not possible. Sure, full Presidential-level Secret Service protection makes it a lot harder to do something horrid to our President--and that is good, whether one likes a particular President or not--but it is nowhere near "impossible."

Given some of the answers given by the acting head of the Secret Service and the reports on the Service overall, it is quite possible that the protectees are in more danger due to inept processes than they have been at other times. The "A" team might have many of the same training and execution issues the "B" and "C" teams have.

I do remain hopeful that nothing happens to any President.

Hopefully it doesn't happen: yes, I do NOT "hope" or "wish" he is killed, but others may, and some of them likely have the wherewithal to do it.
