People like Musk and Zuckerberg and Joe Rogan know that getting shot in the ear is meaningless. It's getting shot at at all that counts. They worry about this kind of stuff every day of their lives and to see somebody react to it like Trump did impressed them beyond belief. People are not supposed to react that way, extraordinary people act that way. Ever wonder why the billionaires of the world like Musk and Zuckerberg never get kidnapped or never have people trying to kill them? It's because they spend an extraordinary amount of money on security. In many cases it's better than what the Secret Service provides. These people are gigantic targets either for their money or because people just hate them because they're rich. You may think you get used to being a target but you never really do.

Or shoot the weapon out of their hand like on a TV Western. The reason cops always aim to hit the largest body area which is the chest is not to kill the person. Because when you're shooting at somebody you're lucky to hit anything at all and your best bet is to aim for the largest portion that the person has. Amateurs can fire off six shots and never hit anything but the wall, let alone shoot somebody in the knee. We will never even know how Annie Oakley would have done in a real shootout situation because all she ever did was target practice in front of people.
