I am currently in Seattle, about to get on a cruise to Alaska.

Last night at the airport, I noticed the men’s bathroom had a free tampon dispenser.

Damn you Tampon Tim!!!!!!!

I really do not see why this upsets so many people, even putting aside trans issues, there are many logical reasons to have tampons available for sale in the men's room. Maybe a single father has a daughter who needs physical assistance, and has to take her to the restroom with him, maybe the women's rooms closes for some repairs and they have to share the men's room, some women just routinely use the men's room because it is quicker (there are basically always stalls available.) The idea that this is some terrible sign for society I just do not get.....

I agree, it is no big deal to me. I would prefer if they put free condom machines in all public restrooms so we could prevent a few more morons.

Are there condoms in any public restrooms? This is not something I have really seen, and I am not sure if I would ever buy a condom in the restroom lol (this is something that is never needed urgently, I can wait until I get to a drugstore or a grocery store.)

Would you be fine with a father taking his daughter into a women's room in that case if she needs physical assistance?

Some fathers have to do this for babies, because many men's rooms do not have changing tables.

The only men who belong in the ladies room are the janitor and plumber.

I was in that position driving my mother to a funeral in Indiana.

Another instance was driving to a funeral outside of Chicago.

Another was taking her to one of my sons' wedding in Houston.


I'd place her wheelchair in the trunk of my car.

The wheelchair was pretty heavy and needed to be folded up.


The roadside restroom doors are extremely heavy to open.

Usually, I waited until another female could help her after I got the door open.


One time there were no other females in there, so I went inside to help her take care of business.

But it was a weird feeling when she was inside of one and she didn't come out in the normal time.

I would think like she fell down or something.


The expense of hiring a female to help me for those trips would have been prohibitive.
