That is certainly true. I expect them to try and make up for it as much as they can. |

It was a kind of a really bad failure. There was nothing they needed to improve but pay more attention to what was going on. The training camps could be seen with a little elevation. I assume it will be a long time before they let their guard down that much again. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

I think they are fools if they think Trump is going to be favorable to Palestinians over Israel. (Which is an issue I tend to agree on Trump on, just a pointing out that such groups are crazy thinking they were smart for jumping to Trump from Harris for their goals.) |

I think what the Pro Hamas/Palestinian crowd did was ‘bite their nose to spite their face’. There was NO WAY Trump would not be better for Israel than a Harris would have been. Fortunately, the support for Israel tends to be bipartisan, with the exception of the FAR LEFT of the Democrat Party, like Tlaib, AOC, Omar, Sanders. |

Biden support for Ukraine has degraded Russia so much they can't interfere like they might have. Biden kept pushing NATO to stay involved on keeping Russia out of Ukraine. Depleted most outside support from our Usual suspects. I posit that as a counter to what Trump might have done. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

As one that doesn't follow politics much but has spent at least an hour a day following he Ukraine war for the last 1000 days. I think the only real mistake made was not giving permission to use our weapons in Russia. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

It might have been a “boil the frog” strategy. (Which isn’t true of actual frogs so I understand) In this case the gradual introduction of more and more sophisticated weapons would be accepted and not drive the Russian to panic into bringing out nukes. In other words, today is only little worse than yesterday, so can’t justify using nukes. Before long the frog is boiling. Or at least someone’s frog is boiling. The problem with that idea, is Russia has many more forces to lose and can afford a war of attrition. Putin can’t save face if he quits. Putin might quit if he could look like a winner in the process. "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |

I think he would quit today if we could find a way for him to present it positively to his people. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
