Uh, movies don't count.

FWIW I am of course aware that some lawyers abuse their authority; in requesting that you cite an example I was hoping for a response based on what happened to you personally or happened near you, just as my example was locally based.

Please, try again.

I ask only in the interests of entertainment and not for educational purposes.

No real personal example. But my ‘traffic court’ example is valid. If you go to the 3pm group of hearings, you might sit there until 7pm until your case is heard. But the clerk literally asks if you are represented by an attorney, then you get to skip the line and go first. The few times I’ve needed to go my ex wife has represented me so I could get out of there in a very short time.
The implication that an attorney’s time is more valuable than an average citizen makes me want to vomit. (But not so much that I won’t take advantage!).

As far as the movie, watch it and tell me what you think of the (fictitious) examples in it. The short blond judge is my ex, the old lady who storms out of court at the end is my ex mother in law. The lasagna hits the wall in my ex house.

I have Prime, I'll check it out, should be fun.

Oh, as for the traffic court example: seems more like professional courtesy than abuse of authority but hey, I catch your drift.

Wicked world.

The cops I know just wanted to go to work and come home from work with no issues. Not being shot to death, and not doing anything that would cause them to be investigated.

Then they should conduct themselves so as to not call their official actions into question. Arrest the bad guys, help the good guys and protect all rights of both the bad guys and the good guys. Obey all laws and operate within the limits of their powers. That's all we ask for.

Well we agree. But I’m just saying on the streets it’s not as easy as you think.

Cops are trained top handle these not easy situations. That's all part of the law enforcement major in college. That's all part of police academy training. That'a all part of daily briefings at roll call each day. Being a cop is a profession, and with that comes professional obligations.

Watch the movie ‘One of The Good Ones’ on Amazon Prime. (Shameless plug). My ex wife was the Executive Producer. She and her mother had cameo parts. Large portions were filmed in my ex house, and ex mother in laws house. All filmed in Buffalo.

Will do.
