Gee. Someone with a history of jumping to conclusions based on his own personal biases did so again. That same someone owes Ritchson an apology. |

I was wrong I can change my mind when more evidence is presented. I keep my mind open Can you change your mind on tarriffs Of course not. DDS creates closed minds Dems want the free market to determine prices Soopoo DDS prevents him from supporting free market principals and instead wants the govt to set prices |

You are truly dense. We have had tariffs since the first major piece of legislation Congress passed in 1789. And 90 or so years ago the President was given tariff authority. Tariff is just a fancy word for tax. I don’t like any taxes or tariffs, but understand that we need to fund the government somehow. When you say ‘no tariffs’ you are essentially saying ‘higher income taxes’. As I’ve said umpteen times, I AGREE WITH YOU that the way Trump weapons tariffs, and keeps changing them, is not good for our country. But you just are so limited you repeat ‘tariffs bad’ while your knuckles are dragging on the ground. Closed mind? At least my mind can process easily available information coherently! |

| odiousgambit Member since: Oct 28, 2012 Threads: 165 Posts: 6377 | I was just impressed that if someone uses a gun in a crime but leaves it at the scene because it is untraceable ... which up till now had been one of the smartest things to do, just leave it there, you don't want it in your possession ... and you wiped it clean and used gloves to avoid fingerprints. And you even wiped clean the cartridges! Yet now they can still find your DNA on the gun, the process for that having gotten to the point that just a few skin cells, literally just may half a dozen, will be enough. I see they are calling it "touch DNA" now Quote: googlebot AI Overview Touch DNA is not entirely new, as it was introduced in 1997, but it has become a revolutionary, standard, and increasingly sensitive forensic technique. It enables law enforcement to collect tiny amounts of DNA—often just seven or eight skin cells—from surfaces touched by suspects, such as weapons, doorknobs, or clothing.
How it works: It involves collecting genetic material left behind by skin cells, sweat, or sebum during contact, which is then analyzed using advanced DNA profiling techniques. Significance: It allows police to link suspects to crime scenes even in the absence of visible biological fluids (e.g., blood or saliva). Recent Advancements: Newer techniques enable faster analysis (sometimes in hours), better detection of "heavy shedders," and tools that distinguish between direct contact and indirect transfer. Limitations & Controversy: Because of its high sensitivity, touch DNA can be prone to contamination, and DNA can be transferred indirectly (secondary transfer), raising questions about its reliability.
Touch DNA has proven invaluable in solving cold cases and property crimes, yet its potential to implicate innocent individuals due to accidental transfer makes it a subject of ongoing debate in forensics.

I've always been against tarriffs because I truly believe the free market should determine all prices This a fundamental aspect of capitalism You are wrong. Tarriff is not just a fancy name for tax. It's the wrong way to fund a govt. There is a huge difference Tax=a mandatory financial charge imposed by a government on income, property, or transactions to fund public services like infrastructure, education, and defense Tarriff=a tax imposed by a government on imported goods and services, acting as a trade barrier to increase their price |

| fleaswatter Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 5 Posts: 1755 | Justice Department Reveals the Biden Administration’s Weaponization of Federal Law Against Pro-Life AmericansQuote: Biden DOJ weaponized the FACE Act in several ways.
The Biden DOJ closely collaborated with pro-abortion groups to track pro-life activists’ First Amendment activity. Pro-abortion groups—especially the National Abortion Federation, Planned Parenthood, and Feminist Majority Foundation—capitalized on their relationship with the Biden DOJ to gain internal information and push targets for enforcement. These groups compiled evidence and dossiers that ultimately gave rise to search warrants and charges. The Biden DOJ affirmatively asked pro-abortion groups about pro-life individuals’ travel and constitutionally protected advocacy. The Biden DOJ and career attorneys monitored pro-life activists for years before charging them.
The Biden DOJ’s prosecutors engaged in inappropriate conduct and comments. Prosecutors knowingly withheld evidence that defense counsel requested to prepare an affirmative defense, tried to screen out jurors based on religion, and authorized aggressive arrest tactics instead of allowing pro-life defendants to self-surrender.
The Biden DOJ helped a pro-abortion group secure funding. The lead prosecutor on each FACE Act prosecution served as a reference on the National Abortion Federation’s application for a private grant. We found no record of ethics approval for the attorney to take an interest in the financial outcome of a party having business before the Biden DOJ.
The Biden DOJ pursued significantly harsher sentences for pro-life defendants than violent pro-abortion defendants. The Biden DOJ requested an average sentence of 26.8 months for pro-life defendants, compared to 12.3 months for pro-abortion defendants.
The Biden DOJ violated the rights of Americans through its biased enforcement of the FACE Act. Though the Act was supposed to protect both pro-choice and pro-life facilities, the Biden DOJ provided extensive support to abortion clinics, while ignoring and downplaying vandalism and attacks against pregnancy resource centers.
Yep, the lefties here are right again, only President Trump has weaponized the DOJ. /s/ |
