She wasn't given a bye. She was put on trial for 3 counts of murder, for which she could have spent the rest of her life in prison as just pubishment. That isn't a bye.

My point was that there should be NO excuse for murder, other than self defense, defense of others, or war.

If she is found insane she will be put in an institution and can later be released when and if she is deemed sane.

That is wrong...that is a bye.

Should be: you are guilty of murder, you go to prison...or get executed.

I can't get beyond reasonable doubt. 37 years old. Until recently no other indications of being a cold=blooded killer, or complete psycho insane.

I think she’s both. A cold blooded killer. And psycho insane. That’s why I’d convict her of murder. And give her whatever treatment the ‘psycho insane’ get.

What should be the difference in a sentence between a woman who has otherwise treated her kids like a good parent vs kid or kids in a long-term torture house that goes on for years by parents. I'm sure everyone can think of such cases.

If there isn't a difference, doesn't sound like justice to me.
