It is a galvnizing issue being co-opted to further political division and, so they hope, serve to keep them in power. It has nothing to do with pregnant women, it's all about clinging to /attaining power. |

Conception happens when egg meets sperm. Who does that exclude? Might even be a cloned cell from anyone. If the embryo is then place into a surrogate mom does she have the right to abort? And a cancer starts to grow when triggered: so what? Conception and carrying an unborn is a woman's issue, not a man's. You want proof? A man can not force a woman to abort; it is entirely her call, without exception. And yes, a surrogate can abort if she wishes; there might or might not be a resultant breach of contract issue depending on the quality of the lawyer and the agreement the lawyer drew up in regards to the surrogacy but her body, her choice.
