Not an absolute majority, but according to Rasmussen, 48% of likely voters support overturning RvW and 45% would disapprove.

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of Likely U.S. Voters would approve of a Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, including 32% who would Strongly Approve. Forty-five percent (45%) would disapprove of overturning Roe v. Wade, including 35% who would Strongly Disapprove. (To see survey question wording, click here.)"

Sounds pretty janky. The post I posted earlier from 538 says various named polls have shown a majority supporting RvW for years.

Rasmussen had the GOP winning in 2018 by 10 points.

Nuff said.

Rasmussen polls likely voters and vets "likely" more than the polls you referred to.

This is, of course, not true.

Sure. The DNA is of itself not of the mother. Simple science.

Nor is cancer of the mother, it's a mutating agent; should that also be preserved at all costs when it is growing in the mother and she wants it gone?

Why or why not?

Comparing cancer to a baby falls under "making a jerk out of yourself" so I will not be answering such a silly question.

Really?

Both cancer and an unwanted pregnancy have parallels, don't you think?

For example, the mother wants neither.

What is to stop the right wing clowns from suddenly proclaiming from Mar-a-Lago that "cancer is good, it is only democrats who get cancer" and then criminalizing the medical treatment of cancer?

Same thing with abortion.: a power play without sound basis.

No, I can see none.

What is to stop it is it would only happen in the mind of a very low IQ, Trump hating liberal. No person with an IQ over 85 could think it would happen.

You veered a bit; I'm talking about abortion, you are obviously talking about the election being stolen.

But hey, you're talking about Trumpies and in that crowd an IQ over 85 is exceptional.

The pro-life crowd who say it is murder aren’t going to be happy if murder continues in other states no matter how many times they point out abortion will still be available as some sort of salve to this decision.

People who think we should have two choices not one forced choice need to WAKE UP and dissuade themselves that the assault on choice is anywhere over. It’s not.

Even the dreaded federal right to abortion doesn’t threaten the rights of anyone who doesn’t want one. Not one.
