There might be a bill that would not be voted on on strict party lines. Say 27 Democrats and 30 Republicans favor it now. Could still be blocked by a filibuster. But no surprise the Democrats used the filibuster. And as is usual for their hypocrisy, now oppose it. |

I don't think that is really of any import. It just means Kamala doesn't have to hang around to break any ties. If a Democrat Senator is incapacitated it might matter for that short while. |
