I don’t think the election was stolen. Unless by stolen you mean allowing votes by mail which disproportionately favors Democrats? I do still believe for all of Trump’s flaws he would have won re election if he hadn’t been SUCH a doofus on just LOOKING like he knew what he was doing on COVID-19. I generally agree with your analysis of the results of the new administration. They can start with the job crushing $15 MW. I had a MW job at age 17. $2.65 an hour. I was happy to have a job. And the job should NOT have paid enough to support a family. |

Are you saying you think $15 an hour would be enough to support a family? “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

Good question. No, I don’t. But by family I generally mean 2 working adults so that would mean around $60k a year. So that is certainly enough to support a family of four. If by support you really mean the basic necessities. Also.... during my career I worked likely on average between 50-55 hours per week. And often took a second moonlighting job when it was available. Because I wanted better schools for my kids. Better trips for me and wife and kids. More savings to retire earlier. Why can’t a guy struggling to make ends meet work more than 40 hours a week!? |

I tend to agree, up until COVID I was pretty certain he would win re-election. But, during COVID he handled a lot badly (not just COVID itself, but the protests/riots, being anti-mail in ballot, and his dispersions of the election process), he basically walked himself into a corner of looking like a conspiratorial blunder (which he has always been in my view, but now it is finally clear to many even in his party).
I have to ask, and I am not being rude, why do you write in newspaper column format (or whatever the technical term in)? Its normally not a huge issue for short posts, but for long posts they eat a good chunk of the page because of their height? You do this on WOV as well. Is there a reason why, I am genuinely curious, and I never understood it? However, as for you contents, nobody stole the election, this has been investigated countless times. If Democrats "stole" the election they did a pretty terrible job (should have had more Senate seats, instead of a razor thin majority). |

Trump screwed Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iran and Venezuela with the KP and fracking. That just changed. Biden cancelled the pipeline to help his donors. It had nothing to do with the environment. Now, we have to burn more fossil fuels to transport it by rail and truck, instead of a pollution and cost saving pipeline. It costs about $5 per barrel to transport oil and gas by pipeline compared to $10-$15 a barrel for rail and $20 a barrel by truck. Buffet, Gates and Wall Street are big donors to the dem party. Buffet is heavily invested in BNSF Railway. Gates is a big shareholder in CNR. Wall Street investment funds have been buying up shares of the major railroads. BNSF, is 46 percent owned by Wall Street investment funds. At CSX, the figure is 35 percent; at Union Pacific, 34 percent; at Kansas City Southern, 33 percent; and at Norfolk Southern, 32 percent, according to Bloomberg News. |

Translation: EvenBob has absolutely no evidence the election was stolen, and will hope that this response is sufficient enough to be able to pivot on to some other stupid conspiracy theory. Maybe Jewish space lasers??? “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

odiousgambit Member since: Oct 28, 2012 Threads: 154 Posts: 5112 | The Dims steal every close election in states where there is a Democrat-machine-run* city. The question is, how many fraudulent votes can they generate this day and age? If GA was won by around 12,000 votes, it makes it a candidate. If the figure gets to be more than that, I for one tend to discount the possibilities a lot more, but still am not sure. How many fraudulent votes are in the realm of possibility? Examine the 1982 Illinois gubernatorial race, where the FBI got involved and it was determined to be 100,000 fraudulent votes. 100,000! That sure makes 12,000 today very plausible https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1982_Illinois_elections#Convictions_for_fraud * If there is a Republican counter-part to that, I've never heard of it. EASY PEASY Attempts to suppress voter counts in democrat areas is an easy counter part. -Not providing enough voting areas in high population areas. -Purging voter rolls as late as possible so people won't always be aware. -Opposing easy access voting for students on campus. -having the voting place but understaffing to possibly make people give up waiting. - putting the voting poll for Dems in an area with almost no parking. All these things have happened. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
