Obama has worked zero years as a judge. Plus he is too partisan to even be considered. Was he the one who said he wanted judges who "fight for the people" or something like that? Or was that Kerry?
Amendment 12 states it clear that if you are not eligible to be POTUS you are not eligible to be VP. Even a 1st year law student would read the intent and spirit to be that you are limited to 2 terms or 10 years. To pull such a stunt would be like the subplot in the movie "Blaze" where the southern governor was term limited but ran as (wink wink) a candidate for Lt. Governor, and the elected governor would resign on day 2. To pull such a stunt would make the USA an official banana republic. The President is a fink. |

Better you than me. She would walk out early and leave you the check, btw. I remember when she stiffed a waitress on a tip at a diner.
Not really an option. Feds do not just give away things like that. The fed "giving" you something is similar to a wiseguy doing you a favor. You can bet the repayment will be much bigger and more complicated. One day those lands will be sold to pay the debt off. The President is a fink. |

I should imagine that the price of a cup of tea is significantly cheaper than her usual appearance fee. Selling the lands off is what I was referring to, namely, to the states, if possible. If the states don't want them, then sell them to become private property. Necessary buildings for the direct business of the Federal Government to be excluded, of course. As I said, I doubt that anyone would try to do it, as the court cases would undoubtedly go up to the Supreme Court. I also can't think of anyone since FDR that wanted to be POTUS for more than 2 terms. I've never read anything about Eisenhower that indicated that he missed the Presidency. Nor did Reagan, GW Bush, Bill Clinton or Barack Obama ever express any public sentiment that they wanted to be President again. Since Ronald Reagan and his wife, Nancy, returned to private life amid widespread good will and a $2-million speaking tour in Japan, it seems like Post Presidential world is pretty sweet. Harry Truman lived his final 20 years in relative poverty. Post Presidency years and days 39 Jimmy Carter 39 247 42 Bill Clinton 19 247 43 George W. A more likely scenario is those land will one day be given to Indians as reparations. "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |

You are talking 1/3 of the USA landmass in total. Those lands produce income in timber and OG royalties. The states do not have the money. The President is a fink. |

Agreed. That's your party, be proud. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
