I had to listen 3 times to catch it all. The Dems refuse to realize they have lost the Black vote. Trump has done more for them than the last 12 Dem presidents combined. Here is a small part of what she said: "You want to see black men get killed substantially, like you’ve never seen before? Put Joe Biden in and watch what happens. | Pacomartin Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 1068 Posts: 12569 | Republican Candidate of 1964 Barry Goldwater (born January 2, 1909) opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as he believed it to be an overreach by the federal government. Since then the overwhelming majority of the black vote has gone Democrat.
While I may not agree with this woman's reasoning, it is encouraging that someone should take a political stand that is contrary to the majority position held by her ethnicity. Latinos lean Democrat, but a sizeable minority did support GW Bush. It would be something if I live to see a Presidential Election where the outcome is not pre-determined except in a handful of states. For the first half of my life we didn't have red/blue states. |
