Where are we sitting now? 6 million LESS jobs than we had on January 20th, 2017?

The Trump virus is really starting to piss me off!

edit: I'm looking for updated numbers. I saw that we gained 1.8 million jobs back in July and that we had a net loss of 7.8 million through the end of June. I guess we'll have to wait for the August report.

The jobs exist.

Grocery store?
No thanks. Too dangerous with too many conservatives not believing in the virus.
What jobs are available in Buffalo that are not dangerous in the era of the virus and comes with crucial healthcare insurance?

Good question. I don't know the answer to the health insurance question. In our neck of the woods masks in grocery stores are mandatory, and there is almost no community spread right now. So not sure why you would think it is not safe? Just today saw ad for work in an ice cream factory for $25 an hour. Also saw some form of local delivery person for $20+ per hour. Wife's daughter may start as some sort of child care at $20 an hour. I guess rich people can afford that! It is in the house of the kids. Golf course I played this morning had a 'now hiring' sign. No idea pay or even what the job is.

Hard working friend I've mentioned here before...... Full time job at airport as bartender, but business way down and it was a tip oriented job.... she had second job nights a few days a week at nearby bar/restaurant.... it is still closed.... so she got a different second job at a different bar/restaurant a longer drive.... If you have a work ethic, there are jobs.... if you want to live off of the government.... re -elect as many Democrats as you can! There is NO DOUBT if it wasn't for McConnell blocking it, the bonus $600 would still be there!

The jobs exist. At least in my town. I wouldn't be surprised if most unemployed liberals are just hoping for a retroactive return to the silly bonus unemployment benefits. Also don't forget that the State UI is still flowing. Plus there was billions of dollars in BLM looting.... that is a cushion as well for those 'unemployed'.

The jobs exist all over. Heard Amazon advertising on the radio. Help Wanted signs all over. Liberals are just deciding the prefer not working.

The china virus is indeed annoying. Too many people deciding it is an excuse to lie about the house than to look for new work. Of course there are less jobs. Democrat governors closing down their states and fining people for opening up and doing business. But it seems that is what you voted for, so why are you so upset?

Average monthly job gains 2012-2016 = 216,000

Average monthly job gains 2017-January 2020 - 185,000

Don't blame me. I voted to continue trends...not destroy them.

Maybe you should not cherry pick and include the >7% unemployment that was the Obama admin 2008-2012.

Obama had over half of the >7% unemployment months since 1945.

THANKS, OBAMA!

So you're faulting Obama for the Great Recession? Okay...wipe out the first year of Trump and credit that to Obama.

Hacks....

I am faulting his incompetent handling of it. 1982 was far worse than 2008 with far more to overcome yet back then we were booming by 1984. Obama just lagged along. Maybe because he does not understand how businesses are run and how jobs are created.

Ummmm..... the number that matters is not unemployment new claims, but unemployment new claims minus number of people who are no longer unemployed. Even you must understand that!

Damn, SOOPOO still mopping the floors with the libbies dumb arguments. I like it!! 👍👍
