As relates the, 'Libbies,' for whom that is true; that's pretty stupid and overbearing. I would suggest that a person can have the mask down during the entire time that they have food/beverage in front of them, except maybe put it back up when the server is approaching.

And, you could also designate certain spots for eating. I could understand why you don't want people running around the grocery store with a mask down using the fact that they have a bottle of pop as an excuse.

I see the misinformation train is chugging right along.

The restaurant rules are pretty simple. Once you sit down at the table you can remove your mask. When you leave the table, you put the mask back on.

Let’s assume polls are about as off as they were in 2016 (undercounted Donny by roughly 2 points), he’s still screwed as of right now.

But maybe the VP selection and debates will sink Biden. Those things always have a HUGE impact on the final vote! /sarcasm

I think Shrek is saying that some people act like the rule is that the mask should only be down if actively eating/drinking, which is true. Some people do ACT as if that is the rule.

I'd be most concerned, not about losing Texas, but about the fact that it looks even close to competitive.

OH won't flip to Biden, gun sales up 48% YTD in Ohio
Gun sales up 82% in AZ YTD and 55% in WI
Gun owners vote Red when they enter the voting booth regardless of what they say on a phone call poll.
I trust the action of spending $$ on firearms vs. an 8PM answer to a pollster's phone call as a better predictor of voting tendencies.
40% of the increase in firearms purchases are estimated to be first time gun owners.
If you got scared enough to buy your first firearm in 2020, you're likely to vote in November.

But my EC math was off from before, now my version of EC map is coming up 269-269.
That would be a $hit show.
Donny wins that contest via the House voting procedures.
Those riots in Seattle & Portland are child's play compared to what happens on 11/4 if we end in an EC tie.
Particularly when Sleepy Joe wins the popular vote, but doesn't become POTUS.

The VP and Debates do matter.
Dems are going to try and scare the US with Covid case counts in an effort to cancel the debates.
Particularly after they see the impacts of the first debate in the polls.
Covid will also be used to rally support for mail in ballots measures.
It won't work as anyone with a brain knows if you can go to the grocery store, you can go out to vote.
Or request an Absentee Ballot
No one on either side of the aisle has a problem with Absentee Ballot votes.
Its a mystery as to why

I don’t have one, and won’t be making one.

All I can say is if the election was today Biden would win in a landslide.

But a lot can change in ~100 days. I’m not counting Donny out.
