Circumventing the Congress' power of the purse isn't a violation of the Constitution? And even if you want to argue that the POTUS has "broad authority" to conduct foreign affairs, don't you think that a sitting POTUS witholding federal funds as leverage to pressure foreign governments or ANYBODY to conduct investigations in ways not authorized by Congress is a problem? You don't think that creates numerous potential abuses of power for a presidnet of ANY party? I guess we'll have to wait and find out how far you all want to debase yourself for this guy. FYI...he's not worth it. |
