Please pay close attention to what
is said when Trump's team destroys
the whole thing. You might
learn something. Maybe.
Hopefully. Probably not...

Well if their defense is anything like their opening, I doubt it.

And you didn't answer my question. Is being a drunk a crime?

Well if their defense

All they have to do is show how
the articles of impeachment are
not even close to the constitutional
requirement of high crimes, which
is easy peasy. A child could do it.

I'm really surprised they went and got Ken Starr
I did not mind him so much during Clinton Impeachment
but
His actions at Baylor totally disgusted me
Ken Starr totally ignored students being raped because having a winning football team is the more important then student safety
Due too his actions, Baylor had no choice but to fire Ken Starr

Where. In your car? In your home?
At Walmart? You have to be specific.
Trump doesn't drink.

The first official to be impeached and removed by the United States Senate was John Pickering. He was removed for being an alcoholic.

Is being an alcoholic a "high crime"?

There were 4 articles of impeachment which Pickering was found guilty of. Only one of the articles, impeachment article 4, concerned "intoxication".

P.S. There are many jurisdictions withing the US where public intoxication (drunk) is a crime.

Which of these articles of impeachment explicitly specify that his behavior constituted "high crimes and misdemeanors"? None of them do!

The point is that you don't need a statutory crime to have been broken to impeach a federal official. It turns out, just being somebody devoid of moral character and a drunk is good enough.

And here, today, we have somebody that is not only devoid of moral character, he used the power we bestow upon one individual for his own personal gain. If what Trump did is not impeachable, NOTHING is impeachable.

Bill Clinton committed perjury.

Should he have been convicted and removed from office?
