The truth is likely that neither Obama or Trump did as much to change the economy as they would claim they did. The reason that the successful economy is bad for Democrats, and that some Democrats are routing for a recession, is that the are preaching a message of new taxes and uncontrolled spending against a President who is presiding over a good economy. No one is worried about the "truth"--the government spends too much, is involved in too may things at the Federal level, and wastes a whole lot of our money. |
