I'm going to go point by point.... Agree. Agree. Agree. Agree. Only disagree is I do not think they House will pass Articles of Impeachment, but I wouldn't bet against it. |

What do they as the impeachable offence, so far they have nothing. If Mueller had something, he wouldn't be talking to brothel madams and porn stars. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

You seem to be under the mistaken impression that the gentlemen serving in the U.S. Congress are honest. Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, honest Congressmen, these are myths intended for children. To serve in Congress, you need to be a professional liar. It's in the job description. They're lawyers. (An old joke: What do you call a lawyer gone bad? Senator.) Nancy Pelosi? Mitch McConnell? Susan Collins? Robert Menendez? Do these people strike you as principled & trustworthy? So envision a trial where the defendant has no option to appeal the conviction, and the jury is composed of 100 professional liars. I guarantee you: the verdict is determined before any evidence is presented. |

Yes, meaning it will never happen. Unless the president is guilty of some heinous crime, no senator in his right mind will vote to remove a president his own party elected. If this was a Dem House and Senate, 1/3 of the Repubs are not going to vote their own man out of office. It would be suicide for their next election. That's why it's never happened and never will happen. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Latest Fox News poll (August 22) has Trump approval at 45%. If he stays in that neighborhood, he'll be fine. Nothing to worry about. Nixon's all time lowest was 24% (January '74). If Trump crashes below 25%.... forget it. It's over. You think anyone in Congress cares if there's a crime? Ha! That's cute. If Trump ever gets below 25%, they'll remove him for not owning a dog. |

Among independents, it dropped from 47% to 31% in a month. UNfavorability (not job performance) 61% up from 55% 32% see him as honest and trustworthy. In a different poll, overall most people are happy if not thrilled with the economy, but that positivity has not translated to positives for Trump. None of that means that the Senate republicans would vote to remove him from office. As things stand now, I don't believe they would. I think Donald’s petty response to John McCain’s passing really hurt him. Political forecaster Harry Enten:
