and offending god. Atheists don't believe in

I didn't take down links from individual posts, nor did I take notes. But he has a story similar to mine. He was raised Jewish, but the whole religion nonsense never made sense to him. He never could get a straight answer for his doubts, either.

His blog focuses to a large degree in combating creationism and "intelligent" design. He's a strong advocate for keeping religion out of science curricula in schools. His secondary, and complementary, objective is to maintain the wall of separation between church and state, in particular as regards imposing religion (ie imposing Christianity) on everyone else.

So that you can participate reasonably in the conversation why don't we agree on a different definition of sin or use some other word that you do acknowledge exists such as "an immoral act". You do believe such things exist don't you?

As far as your religion in concerned,
the definition I gave is the only one
there is. Your Jesus didn't die in your
myth to save you from anything less
than your offenses against your god.

Jesus is a big God he can handle our offenses towards Him. He came to save us from our immoral actions that cause so much hurt and pain to ourselves and others and from the eternal consequences such actions lead to.
