One man's lobbyist is another man's special interest. One man's group is another man's bunch of bigots. People will naturally gravitate towards people of like interest. I have had several times where I was hired as a group of 15-20 or more and it is always amazing how people gravitate towards others with similarities. In AZ people from north and east of Chicago formed one clique and those from the pacific northwest another. At a bank all the MAWGs clung together (with a MA female or two) while "the kids" were another and black females still another. My last abstracting project somehow the people I hung with on day 1 were among the last survivors on the project.

Nothing to worry about IMHO, just natural.

The drinking fountain is in a place of public accommodation and something that is for a single use, a church is not. A religion (a/k/a "the" church) is a way of life and puts out certain requirements.

Sorry, you are going to have to try way harder than that.

There is no private bigotry shown to be going on. I have said it to those on the left here and elsewhere, when your main argument is "racist" or "bigot" then you are showing you have nothing to say. Time to find a new line of argument.

Nobody is being excluded based on anything. If they want to be a part they can follow the set rules. If they do not they can go about their way. You do not have a right to make a group change their beliefs just because you want to be a part of it.

It is called "freedom of association."

It is a problem when they try to impose their views on others.

I don't share Bob's hatred of the Catholic Church, but they certainly have a history of doing that.
