That is exactly the opposite of what I am saying. Does the saying, "men are go enough to be parents, but not good enough to be mothers." make any sense to you? That is what it sounds like you are saying. You make it seem as if priesthood is some position of power rather than a servant to others. You make it seem like being a priest makes you better than being a faithful lay person and that is against the Church's teaching.

That is pretty much what I said. The Catholic church disagrees with most women's rights organizations on what is women's rights.

Most women agree with the women's rights organizations that aren't the Catholic church.

Therefore, the Catholic church does not represent the voice of women when they speak of women's rights.

The Catholic church is interested in promoting and defending the Catholic church's idea of what women should and should not be allowed to do. These woman's rights organizations promote and defend what women want.

Should we talk about the Church's historic opposition to a woman's right to vote?
