Remember all of the clueless libs out there who keep telling conservatives that they need to nominate socially liberal candidates in order to win elections? Well their theory is already falling apart in California, where pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-gun control candidate Neel Kashkari is getting his a** handed to him by Jerry Brown.

Now it turns out that the same type of beatdown is happening in Massachusetts, where pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-gun control candidate Charlie Baker is currently losing by 9 points to Martha Coakley.

So tell me something, all of you geniuses out there. If pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage, pro-gun control GOP candidates can't even win in CA or MA, then where the hell do you expect them to win?????????????

It is hilarious to think that anyone on either side would even bother to listen to advice from the other side on what type of candidate to run in any election. Does anyone really think the other side would ever want you to win unless it was in some location they had no chance at and they wanted your side to put up a candidate that is closer to their views without being on their side by party affiliation? Every other candidate they just want you to run someone they can beat....

This advice probably only comes about because we have news channels needing to fill their 24 hours with SOMETHING, even if it is really NOTHING. They get some talking heads together and talk about how either side can win, with the opposite side giving advice that would down the other side to losing, if taken.

More simply put--I could give a rat's behind what the Democrats think the Republicans have to do to win. If they really knew, they would never tell anyone on the other side.

Just like a lot of what we all post here, it isn't "original thought"--they've heard it somewhere and they are regurgitating it. Don't anyone out there with thin skin take that as an insult; it is just how discussions get started--an idea gleaned from somewhere else and then adding our own opinions.

The only difference here is that the networks...well, Fox...is being heard by a whole lot of people. MSNBC...well, by a lot less people. Here at DT, it is being heard by damned few.
