Liberals ban books all the time is what you said. Not even close. So sad for you.

You said conservatives are banning books and did not even give one example. You are the sad one.

Duffman’s lazy ass is capable of googling “banned books” lists. He will find some probably banned by liberals but way more likely from conservative interests.

But which category does he think most of these challenges are from, liberals or conservatives?

*YAWN*

Plenty are banned by liberals. And liberals usually want to ban the classics. Conservatives more want to not have kids reading about gay themes at a young age. IOW, they do not wand kids reading adult content. Liberals do not want them reading "Of Mice and Men."

If you had something in your life besides worrying about "conservatives" maybe you would have a life.

This is a quintessential Duffman post.

When faced with irrefutable facts, he just speaks in generalities and refuses to cite any sources or give specifics. Then throws in a little name calling for good measure.

Minneapolis is allowing public noise at all times as long as it's religious oriented.

Quote:
The new ordinance adds language specifying that sounds created by bells, chimes, carillons, amplifying equipment, or sounds associated with religious worship” are exempt from being noise violations as long as they last only six minutes within any one hour and no more than an hour within any 24-hour period. The new ordinance removes the 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. time restriction for all such forms of sound creation.

I read about somebody's trip to the middle east one time and there was a description of waking up in Cairo and hearing the call to prayer and this really being special on their trip.

I can relate to that, must be really cool!

But I have to say it's the last thing I'd ever want to hear in my own neighborhood

Sounds like you are getting all worked up over nothing. It appears they are just clarifying the law because bigots complain about church bells being briefly rung or hearing brief organ music from the windows.

At 3am in morning? It just proves religious freedom could be any kind of made-up nonsense.
