I saw the survey that showed 60% of men under 30 not dating and 30% of women the same age bracket. The gap is hard to explain even if you account for far more women date older than men do. It is a function of the general decline in American society since 1964.

Since the early 1970s we have been told women are great and that men are garbage. That is now home to roost. Add in the impossible standards so many women have. Add in that if she is on a dating site and is at all attractive she will have a dozen guys to replace the guy she thinks is not measuring up. Add the anti-male bias of USA Family Courts. The sum of it all is men dropping out and going MGTOW.

The USA is just following Japan and South Korea where this has been going on for over a decade now. The feminists wanted it. Now they have it. Lets see what they do with it. Hopefully instead of depression and suicide these men find hobbies and interests that are productive for them.

Always hilarious to me when nasty Trump supporting men wonder why no women want to be anywhere near them.

It’s not a big mystery!

I grew up with several sisters.

I saw them morph negatively over time (not all feminists, but when they get in a group, extreme feminism).

They got lucky with the men they landed.

On the other side of the coin, don't lose hope single men, because there are good ones out there still.

Might need to change cultures, if possible.

Teach English overseas or join the military and try to be based overseas. Guy who worked for me said if you go to the Philippines single it is near impossible not to come back married. Too many American women want to be married but want to be "partners" not "wives." Guys do not want women that do the things they can do themselves. the want "their better half." If you are both going to do the same roles why bother?

It is not just the women that don't want to be around them.

Elective surgery is generally not covered. If you force trans surgery to be covered you really need to force them all to be covered.

I would be more in favor of banning gender reassignment surgery except for intersexed persons. It is mutilation and a high number of people who get them end up just as depressed as before. But if we are going to have them let the person that wants to chop their privates off pay for doing it.

I would force it on the grounds that, if a medical professional deems the surgery to be absolutely necessary, then that is no different from a medical professional deeming any other surgery to be absolutely necessary.

The insurance industry is probably the #1 reason that healthcare costs what it does, in this country, and we have this whole single-payer/socialized medicine debate in the first place. The worst aspect of that is that the insurance industry does not add any value whatsoever to the actual care, quite frankly, they are irrelevant to the actual treatment itself. The only thing the insurance industry does is add costs---as the insurance companies have employees to pay and massive profits to make.

In other words, the end consumer, on balance, ultimately pays more for no change in the quality of service. The only people who benefit from the insurance industry's existence are those with serious health issues whose costs would otherwise be through the roof. In that sense, it's really not THAT much different from socialized healthcare, except, with socialized healthcare, you're just paying for the healthcare.

You could drive an F-350 thru that. Only real "necessary" would be legit intersexed people. The rest is elective. And when you say you have to pay for any elective surgery you no longer have "insurance" you have an indirect payment system.

And you think socialized medical countries do not have people to pay?

I almost died last year. I was able to get the care I needed fast. Under socialized medicine I probably would have had to wait around, based on wait times for an MRI in Canada alone I figure that. The thing is American health care costs more because Americans use more and demand Cadillac care not Kia care. The profit margin on health insurance is not that high.
