There is just so much data, I can't keep it strait in my head. I read recently that some test showed 99% of new Covid positive tests were all of the Omicron variant. Does that mean that the Omicron has overtaken the Delta variant and diluted it down?

I'm still trying to watch the count here in my little county, and the last few days it has really dropped. Two Fridays ago it was about 700, this last Friday it dropped down to 161. UPthread I think it was mentioned "unless a new variant arrives and is much more deadly". I've always read that that is not the direction it goes? The Virus seems to have a concious? It wants to live and somehow realizes that if it keeps killing at the rate it originally was, we will continue attacking it until we can do something? If it gets more mild, like the people that have already had and healed from Omicron make it seem, isn't this run of Sars Covid 2 about done with?

So far as I know, you're still at lower risk with the vaccines than without. It will be really big news if that ever changes, so you won't miss it unless you shut yourself off from all news sources.

Haven't seen any evidence of some predicted mass terrible side effect from the vaccines we use in the US. I think every drug on Earth will have some side effects for some people, so not unusual that it has some.

Looks like they're starting to suss out some evidence why some people who don't have risk factors are particularly susceptible to the virus, but I haven't seen it pushed, so maybe there's low confidence in the studies, or they're just being extra careful in such pronouncements.

Couldn't they possibly hinder that sort of thing by having a weighted scale, where losing games later in the season would factor less than losing games early? I'd assume no one is interested in losing games early in the season, so more likely for someone to do that later.

I think someone like Bannon knows exactly what he is doing. Powell, I think has a screw loose. Someone rifled through her deck of cards and lost some. Some of her marbles bounced out. Her head is cracked like the Liberty Bell.
