I was thinking exactly the same thing. She is a super uniter, everything she says makes sense. This is not a racist country she says, if it was she says, how did she get to be where she is. And she said she didn't even try that hard because there was nobody and nothing standing in her way. No white supremacists, nobody telling her she couldn't do it. That's why we've always had legal means to become citizens in place. You just don't storm into another country and demand to live there just because you want to. You go through the legal process. They want to be part of the American dream do what her family did, come here legally, get college educations some good jobs. Don't storm across the border with your hands out. No country in the world puts up with that. In some places it will get you dead. Even Ellis Island have protocols for letting immigrants in. They didn't say you're here, you're in. They sent plenty of people back to their native country. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
