Not really sure how to respond to you telling me what you think I believe. It seems kind of like you are giving up.

Giving up what. When you don't believe something
because you can't see it, hear it, touch it, or see any
evidence it's true, it's only logical you doubt people
who claim they're believers. I treat my wife's family
with kid gloves, like they're one step away from

In the old days, if you had a secret invisible friend,
other than Jesus, your family would have you locked
in a loony bin. To an atheist, Jesus doesn't get a
pass, anybody who tells you they have a 'relationship'
with him, a 2000 year old dead guy, gets treated
with special care. Just nod and smile a lot and slowly
back away from them.

I'm kind of joking, but I'm speaking a lot of truth too..

The reality of God is terrifying. I definitely want to be on His good side.

It's actually not logical. You are making two mistakes. First and most important is that you think the absence of evidence is evidence of absence and that is not true. You need evidence, not the lack of it, to show that something does not exist. This is because of another logical problem of yours. You are rejecting things as evidence and you are not giving the possibility that you do not understand or can recognize the evidence. If you don't have a telescope you won't have evidence that Saturn has rings. You need to trust the people who say Saturn has rings are not crazy and there are millions and millions of people who say it does. Maybe they are all crazy, maybe they all have doctored the photos, but if you trust me I can tell you I have looked through a telescope and I have seen the rings and they are beautiful beyond description.

theory, idea, and weirdo urban legend
just because we find no evidence they
aren't true.

Do you realize that's what humanity did
for most of it's existence? It's called
superstition, and your religion is founded
on it. But it's a hard sell in modern times,
we don't think like that anymore.
