Well, they weren't shooting at us and we weren't (or shouldn'tbe) shooting at them before the war. Donny and Bibi's actions are might makes right, not might for right. |

It was! But I’ve turned over a new leaf. I know I’m not going to die penniless so things like this just deplete kids’ inheritance. In The Villages golfed with a guy whose wife was having medical issues. He opined ‘If money can fix it, it’s not a problem. If money can’t fix it, it’s a problem.’ It’s all fixed. And wifey and daughter cleaned it up spiffy. |

It is said to have the goal to spend your last dollar on the day you die. |

I disagree with that. I am happy knowing my hard work will help my grandkids and kids not need to worry about money. It’s more a priority to me than an afterthought. |

Stock market does not matter. Biden set records with 9 weeks in a row, and we heard endlessly how this was irrelevant and not his doing. It's funny, now that the stock market is something that matters.... In any case I am consistent, doesn't matter then or now. But, if it matters to you, Biden had a better total weeks of increases than Trump.... So, in your mind if we sunk some ships and damaged some plans a deal weaker than Obama's is justified? This is pretty hard copium... And, yes being in an indefinite cease fire for over 60 years versus a permeant solution does matter (it is the main reason we still have 25k-40k troops sitting in Korea at all times...). Acting like a second scenerio like this would be ideal and acceptable is more copium... Good luck ever visiting Iran if we are in a perpetual ceasefire for the rest of our lives.... I hope you get your sink fixed in time! |

I give Trump no credit for the present market rise. Just pointing out how the lefties here overreact to anything Trump does, hence their stupid ‘market crashing’ thread. If you call dismantling their Air Force and Navy is ‘some ships and some planes’ I can’t splain it better to you, Lucy. You keep saying ‘a deal weaker than Obama’s’. The point of this attack is that Iran was not living up to the previous agreement. And its proxies throughout the region were constantly trying to end Israel. If Israel is happy Iran is much weaker, so am I. As far as what you call our ‘new’ relationship with Iran will be, it will never be as allies. As we speak, an Iranian plot to murder the President’s daughter is in the news. No matter what happens, that is what Iran will do. Sink is fixed. Im in the middle of a gazillion ‘first world’ problems. Plus it’s been 48 and rainy for two straight days. But I’m happy. Went to gym to shoot baskets. 4 young kids were also playing, watching me shoot. 12 years old. They came over to me and asked ‘if I was in the NBA when I was young?’ That made my day (week?) |

So what? The Arabs have done this for more than seventy years now, what else has changed to warrant attacking a sovereign nation that was basically minding its own business and not fucking any more than usual with the USA? Besides, who are we to tell anyone they can or cannot have nuclear weapons? |

What previous agreement was Iran not abiding by? |

Using terrorist organizations to continually attack Israel. Being in the community of nations is a tacit agreement not to send your proxies into Israel to kidnap/murder/rape civilians. Or have Hezbollah constantly lob bombs into your civilian territory. Need I list what they have the Houti’s do? |

I think you are mixing up Hezbollah and Houthi, Iran has no direct control to make the Houthis do anything. They have a vague alliance, and provide them weapons because they will people they don't like. But, they have no direct control over them. As for Hezbollah, do you know why Hezbollah was formed in the 80s? If you don't, do some research, neither Israel nor the U.S. were the good guys in that... Does that give them an unlimited license to do what they do now? I would say no, some may say yes. However, all that being said. Tribal and local alliances, are not relevant to agreements. Iran violated no agreement. If anything the U.S. did by pulling out in 2018 and reimplementing sanctions. Even IF (it's a big if,) they had some uranium over the limit, in my opinion we have zero right to judge that after pulling out of the inspection agreement. I don't like it, but we reap what we sow... And, now it sounds like a deal may be pushed off after Israel and the war hawks in Congress have been hassling Trump about the deal not being good enough. My sense is Trump really wants this over, certain other parties want to restart combat. All of yesterday we were told we should have the deal released to us by the end of the day (Sunday,) now we are being told "there is no rush," and don't expect updates anytime soon... My suspicion is there was a deal, and the hardliners in the GOP hated it because it was a watered down Obama deal... And, now Trump is backtracking... |
