You are a disgrace as human and a physician, Scott. You used a vile racial epithet, "wetback", to try and deprive an illegal immigrant of his human dignity. To avoid confusion, *now* I am calling you a racist. Because you are.

It is a term that specifically refers to someone who crossed a River, specifically the Rio Grand, to enter our country illegally. As opposed to the ‘visa overstayers’. Is it a pejorative term? Sure. I use pejorative terms when discussing criminals. As I must remind you, many illegal immigrants have been my patients. I treated them all with dignity. Same as I’d treat a visiting pharmacist from Massachusetts.

And now, I’m calling you stupid, because you are.

I'm saying there should be common sense discretion with enforcement. If somebody is living peacefully in a neighborhood, maybe they are not worth dispatching a federal deportation team from the other side of the country to..

I'm pretty sure almost no one likes being deported, but millions of deportations were done by other Presidents. Trump's already had hundreds of protests and some riots over his.

The real factor is Trump is a moron and cretin. That is all it is. He can't do anything without making a f***ing scene.

More left wing violence. But since it is against a church the theophobic lefties on here will defend it.

So they went into a church service and were loud? Where is the violence? Trespassing and disorderly conduct maybe, but I see no violence based legal charges...
.

Like I said, you defended it.

You are saying they committed a "violent crime" I am asking what it is. I don't even see property damage here

Violently entering and disrupting a service. Brownshirt tactics.

This is often my point. Trump occasionally has frameworks for some plans that I agree with, but rarely enacts them in a way that doesn’t rankle a large swath of the population he supposedly represents.

I think a large part of the Trump disdain is that he tends to ‘weaponize’ everything.
Tariffs. Investigations. Visa granting. State funding.

EB will call me a liberal. Geno will call me a racist. Rx (not really) just called me crazy. I’ve been called a RINO.

If you think of it, I probably have a very mild case of TDS, too!

Not sure if it was this thread, but I just read more on my use of the word wetback. I won’t be using it again.

I don't think you know the definition of violent crime. Verbal disruptions are not violence.

It's way less of a brown shirt tactic than J6.

I would say entering someone’s house/business/place of worship for the purpose of intimidation is an ‘act of violence’ even if the actual physical attack did not happen. A gunshot that whizzes by your head with no contact is an act of violence. I was once mugged at knifepoint. There was no physical contact between me and the perpetrator. Are you saying that wasn’t ’an act of violence’?

The Jan 6 debacle was most assuredly a combination of multiple acts of violence. That doesn’t change the violence committed from the left today

In more disturbing news, a judge and his wife were shot in his home. Left, right, or neither, I hope the felon is caught, and never sees the outside of a prison cell again. Frankly, if it were up to me, attempted murder of a judge/prosecutor/elected official/anesthesiologist should result in the death penalty.

Much as people have tried, words have never acted like a bullet. "i'm going to shoot you" is definitely different than "just yelling" angerly at someone.

What threats were yelled?

Trespassing (walking through an open door") is not violence.

If you're just talking about violating laws, that's on point.

When people interrupt Congressional hearings, yelling and such, is not violent. They have to do something else. Or at least make a verbal threat.
