If you think Trump won because of ‘gas prices’ you are unteachable. Trump won because middle America rejected the Democrat party platform.

And anyone who thinks they know with any certainty if Newsom could/will beat Vance/Rubio/Etc.. in 2028 is just fooling himself.

Predictit has Newsom as the second most likely winner of the 2028 election to Vance. Rubio 3rd. AOC 4th.

So much to happen between now and 2028. Although most likely a ‘Blue Wave’ in November, still a lot can happen between even now and then.

It's all about gas prices
Dems will win in 2026
The Dems won't win in 2026 because middle America accepts the Dem platform
The Republicans won't lose 2026 because middle America rejects the republican platform
The Dems will win in 2026 because Trump raised the price of gas by going to war with Iran with no good reason
The Republicans will lose in 2026 because Trump raised the price of gas by going to war with Iran for no good reason

It's never about the platforms
It's about the cost of living and gas is a major component of that

I have $50 on Stephen A Smith as Dem Nominee. I doubt Dem Leadership is smart enough. Stephen A. would get Bernie'd if he announced and gained any support. I agree. way too far off. Even so, Gavin would not be a good choice for the Dems. The first CA Governor to preside over a decrease in CA Population since State Admission in 1850. That's not a great stat for Newscum.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one. I think the Dems will win in 2026 because of a myriad of Trump induced issues. Gas prices are just a small piece of the puzzle.

So out of touch with the people
Gas prices are the biggest reason to move votes
It's directly taking money out of people's pockets

There are rumblings in the media about the specter of Trump using his presidency, and in particular the threat of war, to manipulate the stock market and in so doing allow he and his insiders to short it or go long in advance as the case may be.

I called ti...

This is undeniably true, it is not even a question.

Oh. Gandler says something is ‘undeniably true’ and thus it magically is! I do believe it is more likely than not, but I guess I’m not as arrogant as you are! Can you tell me who made what illegal trade that you are referring to? I missed it. I sold some stuff before Trump’s speech. Are you accusing me? Or perhaps accusing the other MILLIONS of investors that just figured Trump would say something stupid enough to move the markets south.

How many people had access to Trumps speech before he gave it? 20? 100? More?

I think I asked this before …. If a Joe Shmoe in the printing office saw it, and shorted the entire market, is Mr. Shmoe guilty of anything?
