I’ve said this for quite some time. I’ll bet there are some Democrats who are DOING NOTHING ELSE but looking for evidence.

Seems the democrats can no longer find their ass with a flashlight, given them blowing the 2024 election so badly.

Given the total control MAGA now has on all branches of the government it should be child's play for them to keep it hidden...for a couple years anyway but sooner or later we'll learn the truth, for all the good it will do us by then...hello, fascist dictator.

Heil Trump!

What deal with drumph is worth the twitter it's written on?

I'm bemused that the markets have recovered to pre-liberation day levels.... On the strength of persistent high tariffs and just a smattering of a climb down.
The markets sure do like to party. I think a bit early to celebrate.

Yes I know that I an hijacking your post but I wanted to reply directly to you.

It is my understanding that you are from the United Kingdom. You really seem to enjoy calling MY President "drumph". Please explain WTF is going on where you live. See links below.

Yeah, why just call the wannabe dictator "drumph" when "lying asshole" or "multiply convicted felon who lies like a rug to keep his fat ass out of prison" are much more "enjoyable?"

England has its King; he wants to "trump" him and be Emperor of the World.

drumph is only nominally a gesture towards disrespecting the [Insert whatever expletive description you prefer] I have no interest in engaging his cult members.

I'm no Royalist, though I did respect our queen as incredibly statesmanlike.

King Charles has advanced cancer
drumph IS advanced cancer. Maybe I'll start calling him that.

Trump is so publicly disrespectful, I don't know how any self-respecting person could respect him beyond the most cursory amount needed to interact with him at all.

While I am understandably glad to see the market turn positive I and many others wonder whether this recent tariff roller coaster has been nothing but a cute parlor trick

Maybe it is part of a brilliant negotiating strategy to get other countries to contribute more. Personally, I doubt it but maybe it is.

I haven't been fully behind Trump's every move, but to write off what we got potentially with China as a waste of time is to have sucked up so much Dem KoolAid you stay drunk all the time

China has agreed to open up their market by dropping many of the non-tariff barriers. Or didn't you notice the stock market responding?

I think the danger is China reneging, but if they don't the news is great

From Business Insider

Quote:
overall US tariff rate is still sharply higher than it was before Trump's April 2 tariff announcement. Even considering the 90-day pause and framework for trade negotiations with China, the US's overall rate will likely be pushed up to about 14%, Altman estimated, up from about 3% to 4% during then-President Joe Biden's term.
