You can't avoid some imported products. Something like 70% of oil comes from Canada, most wood and metal products comes from Canada or Mexico. You can't build a house without buying tariffed products. It's, not like you can just avoid it, when you are talking about a lot of basic materials, we are not talking about a single recreational product (lottery tickets,) very different.

You can avoid it, but it is inconvenient. People built houses for 1000's of years without using imported goods.

At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 160 Posts: 5484	I didn't vote for her, I could care less that she lost the election, let alone the swing states. Had she won I'd be attacking her when warranted, and I suspect that would be often...but not as often as with Herr Trumpf. Harris would have made a lousy president any way with her progressive agenda.
