Anyway, I'm 99% sure Trump has made the proper recipe for his biggest failure ever. I'm just not sure yet how it's going to play out or how long it will take.

Well Nike fell 7% in after hours trading, so it's a safe bet that short sellers will be high fiving tomorrow.

As for the future...the term "trump" will secure new meaning, e.g.failure based on bombast: "He really trumped it on that one."

What a legacy; I can only hope that he gets interred in a marked grave so that some day Iall Trump haters can piss on it.

I was very surprised that some parts of the market were positive the last couple of days
but stock futures today have taken a big dip - 3.5% down on the S&P today
it seems likely to be a terrible day for the market

but you can never be sure - it seems some are buying the dips - believing the tariffs won't crush the market too badly

but if I was a betting man I would say today will be brutal - I'm not selling - I might get crushed - but I never sell - I'm a buy and hold guy

for anybody who is an active trader - not me - it might be a great day to take a short position somehow - if they do buy on the dips and the short position is a loser I seriously doubt the market will go up much

About the most positive spin possible. Except Trump is doing it the wrong way.

The other statements, which are essentially, in the long run this will be good, sounds like sending a rescue party out for the Donner party that arrives 3 days late after they already started eating each other.

And that is, if the whole thing works at all. Which is just a theory at this level.
