Didn't Elon see that Trump's mantra about "drill, baby drill" would be an EV death knell, at least for the next four years?

Trump ending the funding for a national network of electrical chargers is the coup de grace.

Elon is being shit on not only by the ones he embraces, the MAGgots who don't want EV's (never have, never will): he's also serving as a toilet for Herr Diktator who literally is watching Elon hang himself after being given enough rope.

How will tariffs lower inflation "on day one" as promised?

If the prices of everything are so high that no one can afford them then they won't buy them, which in turn will turn to a deflationary situation. That is taught in Econ 101.

What I heard is the stock market is made up of a lot of foreign investors and they're the ones that are driving it down. America is turning off the money spigot all the billions and trillions of dollars that goes into foreign pockets and has for decades, that's all being stopped. And this is the reaction to it. Can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. Let's see what the stock market is a year from now then we'll worry about it.

Why would foreign investors bail on wall street simply because DOGE is allegedly clamping down on waste?

It's more likely that everybody is nervous because there's a mad man behind the wheel.

Letting illegal aliens and drugs to pass over the border for one. Rigging the game to take advantage for another.

All they need to do is agree to what Trump wants and the tariffs will be gone in a day. But they are too good for that in their eyes.
