His family owned or had access to a coffee company.

One day "Zeke" surprised the shit out of me by using a can opener to open what looked like a generic big metal can of coffee, with the usual manufacturer's label on it: inside it was packed with killer Columbian weed and not coffee.

Luck guy to have such good connections.

I was impressed.

He was also the only guy I ever got in a car with when we were tripping on acid: high as a kite but he still drove normally.

8% of that 639 tons (51 5ons) enters the US. Making Venezuela a major supplier of cocaine to the US and Europe.

Maduro is a legitimate target because he is an illegitimate leader. A communist dictator drug lord who makes millions transporting cocaine into the US and Europe.

Seven million Venezuelans have fled that country in the past ten years.

Mexico has been cooperating in the drug war. It may have something to do with the sight of ongoing US military reconnaissance flying over Mexican cartel territories and routes.

Fentanyl seizures at the border are down 46%.

Columbia is still considered a strong ally. In response to US complaints, they've resumed fumigating the coca crops.

So far, the US is only bombing traffickers. Not nations.

At least three drug boats out of latin America and Mexico have been blown away in the eastern Pacific over the past weeks.

Columbia University produces 639 tons of cocaine that is routed through Venezuela? Seems rather inefficient to make cocaine in NYC, send it to Venezuela, then ship it back. Maybe Donny should tariff all that blow to keep the processing domestic.

trump's self confessed superstition is guiding his very ill informed drug habit. It may lead to confusion, coma, hemorrhagic stroke and other causes of intracerebral hemorrhage.

Well, it's true that his dad lived to age 93, dying in 1999. But it's also documented that he had dementia as early as age 85 in 1991

A few months later, another physician reported that Trump "did not know his birth date [or] age", amongst other difficulties. Mary L. Dementia and cognitive decline are nothing to be ashamed of in old age. But he'll be the last to recognise and admit it. For the rest of us, it should be obvious.
