Agree and agree. The Republicans will negotiate but then just vote for what they want to. Kind of like what the people who voted them in want, actually. If it turns out the people didn’t want these results, they can vote them out next year. Point is the Dims are doing this ‘to look strong’, and in NO WAY is it good for the country. They need new leadership, new strategists, and frankly, a more in tune with the overall populace’s agenda.
I think our doofus in chief actually said he will start cutting ‘Democrat programs’ now! Even though they are really ‘American programs’ once enacted into law. I can promise you this, if Kamala was Prez she might have cut ‘Republican programs’, but she wouldn’t have said it out loud!

The democrats are flailing, no question about it: they seem to be screwed, given they "need" the votes of younger, liberal progressives yet most of America rejects the progressive agenda: certainly the traditional, moderate democrats can't warm up to it; then there's the fact that the progressives look at the democrats as not representative of their beliefs and are possibly going to go third party.

Basically "damned if you do, damned if you don't:" if they embrace the progressives Ma and Pa Kettle will vote republican, but if they don't capture the liberal vote they'll lack the votes to win.

Lets see, you say that men can get pregnant. That there are more and more genders. That you want to force people to buy EVs. That everything about the history of he country is racist and awful. That your kids need to learn about being gay as early as 3rd grade and you have no say. You cheer men pretending to be women on the cover of the SI swimsuit issue and say there is something wrong if you do not like that. That we should be giving illegal aliens free health care. You spit and piss on anything religious and religious people. You tell white males they are not wanted.

You do all that, then you wonder why you have lost middle America?

what are "medbeds" you wonder - answer - they a phony type of bed originally promoted by the far right conspiracy group QAnon - the bed can theoretically heal all sorts of illnesses just by lying down in it

I look at 180 degrees different from you. It’s not that Trump is a genius, it’s that the Democrats are just plain idiots. How has this ‘shutdown’ affected the markets? Up of course. The less the Federal Government does, the better.

The Democrats are making it easy for Trump, but he is making the most of it. While they are trying to get free government paid healthcare for illegal aliens, Trump is getting Hamas to release hostages.

Kamala isn't a vengeful doofus, and would not have been a doofus in chief. Have the day you voted for.

There is a GOP President, a GOP majority House and a GOP majority Senate. If they can't put together a bill that will pass, that's on them.

If they want the Dem vote, they should put together a bill the Dems will vote for. If they don't want to put together a bill the Dems will vote for, then no bill will pass.

The GOP leadership also blew their wad by using reconciliation to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill, and didn't save it for the Federal budget. That's what happens when you get greedy. Had to have those cuts to food stamps and Medicaid and alternative energy.
