"Which" Vance are you talking about? The earlier, "real" guy who disliked Trump and what he stood for, or the opportunistic stooge who glommed on to the oaf and gives lip-service to the MAGA playbook in order to ascend politically? Vance is a smart guy, and he has potential to be a decent leader...someday...if he gets off the Trump crazy train. Yeah, as in The Wizard of Oz someday we munchkins will be singing "Ding dong the witch is dead" because Trump will not live forever: gotta hope when he dies the MAGA extremism dies with him and that politics and politicians become more reasonable and moderate. |

| SOOPOO Member since: Feb 19, 2014 Threads: 25 Posts: 5748 | Trump just sent emails to many employees of the Federal Government pointing out that Democrats refusal to pass a bill that does nothing other than keep the government open is the sole reason we are presently in the shutdown. As usual, the Dims are digging a deeper hole for themselves. They know it’s true, so they are going after Trump with ‘sending that type of email is unprecedented’. The Dims are trying to use the scraps of leverage they have to force the Repubs to keep some Obamacare handouts which are set to expire. As AZ would say, they are playing right into Trump’s hands. Now Trump will find whatever Democrat/Liberal/Progressive programs that ARE supposed to exist and hamstring them, while of course using the Democrat created shutdown as a shield. And make no mistake about this one, there is a ‘clean’ bill to keep the government open that Democrat Senators are blocking. |
