If Trump sends in the National Guard or federal troops then things will escalate quickly: no doubt antifa (basically unemployed barristas, lesbians and college kids) will hoot, holler, and resist....should be entertaining...but wholly unnecessary.

No, it most certainly is NOT the same as it was during the height of the the BLM protests five years ago.

Back then there were daily riots, confrontations, marches, and not just in downtown stumptown.

This year the protest seems limited to a single, new venue, one not targeted before...the ICE HQ, and what is happening now is mostly peaceful.

No huge clashes like there once were: a few "incidents" by zealous idiots but not group hysteria as we saw in the past.

Per the classic Arby's commercial..."Where's the beef?"

It is the oaf making up issues in order to deflect...a classic play by Herr Diktator; he's "poking the bear" and antifa WILL respond in force, which is exactly what he wants.

I've little use for antifa but they are correct in labeling the oaf a fascist and opposing his hare-brained machinations.

The thing is, he is provoking them to act...so childish.
