They did not learn their lesson after interfering in the 2004 election with a totally fake story, I guess.

It is very sad that a President sued a media company for the way they edited a version of the interview that they were not a part of.

ABC, probably would not have settled if they were not being threatened with the FCC approval for their merger. The whole thing is the opposite of a free press.

As for who gets the money is irrelevant, this is a tactic to limit news coverage.

I'd say in simple terms you cannot edit to change the meaning of what was said. If a question is asked you need to show the entire question and entire answer. If you edit for time you need to delete both question and answer.

However, C-BS should be considered on serious probation as they so seriously interfered in the election by editing so heavily. To regain credibility they need to show things unedited start to finish.
