If Trump weren’t so clueless, he could have put forth a policy, that all the illegals who have a good record and only a violation of crossing the border, have to perform 1000 hours of community service on their own time. Then they can fall in line behind everyone else, unless we don’t really have a place for them.

Booting them is positive benefits. But then again you were among those defending human traffickers from deportation so you are not the sharpest tack in the box even if there is only one other tack in it.

This is not accurate, most of the outrage is over residents and visa holders being deported after their status is revoked with no notice. Some people wake up and their student visa is revoked for example because of a published paper that a foreign government does not like and then agents get sent the next day to pick them up by force.

We are deporting many people who came here legally, and the current administration decided "are not good visitors."

If Trump was just increasing border security and targeting truly illegal immigrants, very few people would have an issue (yes there are some who think borders and immigration enforcement in any capacity is wrong, but these are fringes in both parties.)

Ironically Trump is empowering actually illegal immigrants by allowing companies to keep their illegal labor force because "they manage and are responsible for these workers and they stay on their property" (sounds almost like slavery...) while targeting people who came legally, but have academic policies he does not like...

He is fine with illegal immigrants for hotels and farms as long as they stay on the property and the owner keeps "a handle on them", but does not like legal immigrants who go to high level universities publishing controversial papers. It is almost like their is a political agenda with how enforcement is carried out... He is trying to setup modern day plantations under the guise that clearing farms "will cause a food shortage" (what shortage clearing hotels will cause is unclear, but I think we all know why he wants to exempt hotels from ICE enforcement...)

Well, that is how it works. When you are not being a good visitor, you get asked to leave. If they are asked to leave they have to leave. There is no right to a green card or to enter the USA.

I guess you did not see or hear all the protests when he closed the border within hours of taking office. Your side wants open borders and nothing short of that will upset them.

This is how guest workers work in many places, cruise ships for example. Here is the thing, if they do not like it they are free to leave. That is not how slavery and plantations work.
