No, that statement is inaccurate.

While the United States did implement highly restrictive immigration policies between 1921 and 1965, it did not completely shut down immigration for 30 years.

Specifically, the Emergency Quota Act of 1921 and the Immigration Act of 1924 significantly limited immigration, particularly from Southern and Eastern Europe, but did not eliminate it entirely. Immigration continued, albeit at a much reduced level, throughout this period.

Nonsense on "work as hard." Put a plant in rural PA or Appalachia and you will have people lining up to work there. Of course they will not work for the $1 a year that you expect people to work for so you can buy cheap junk at WMT.

We've found out over and over that lots of a people want to buy cheaper products and Americans don't want to work at cheap labor prices. It doesn't add up.

What every liberal misses is that if America (via its elected representatives) determines there is a need for more cow milkers it can allow LEGAL work visas for those wanting to come and milk cows! So send the illegal ones home, determine how many we need, and process the applications to have LEGAL cow milkers. I think the cow milkers here illegally would prefer to be here legally, without having to be constantly looking over their shoulders.

But don’t let those who snuck across the border jump the line over those presently trying to get here through legal channels. It can work. But only if you truly deport those here illegally.

I’ve relayed this before. Wife’s good friend is a legal Mexican immigrant who is the biggest Trumper I know personally. She abhors illegal entry into our country.
