It dawned on me that MGTOW and NAMBLA have common goals.
OK that was funny

You can tell your brother that he can vote for Harris/Walz with confidence, as taxing unrealized gains has almost no chance of becoming law.
I'm getting real tired of hearing "vote for this candidate who has really bad ideas because they'll never pass"

I think we are supposed to vote for the candidate who has ideas we like. I can point out some Trump ideas I don't like, but please don't expect me to tell you 'don't worry he can't get that passed'

Taxing paper gains can get passed, but it'll take more time to groom DEI participants on the receiving end.

But it'd be a good start by electing a DEI candidate.

Just imagine folks getting monthly settlement checks, related to the "E" for equity, in DEI.

Those rich working folks will quickly be outnumbered and the economy won't suffer at all.

It'll be like the reverse Reagan trickle-down effect, or a trickle-up.

This is literally Donny’s argument for pro-choice women being able to vote for him. “Who cares if I’m anti-abortion - Congress will never pass a national abortion ban!”

Did you watch the debate he lost horribly? He repeatedly refused to say he would NOT sign a national ban because it would never go through Congress anyway.

I'd never heard of the MGTOW movement before reading about it here. That led me down the rabbit hole of discovery, horrifyingly discovering Milo and his thoughts on 13 year old boys. Gave a whole new meaning to "men going their own way". It seems the Catholic church has the same problems.

Proposing what?

Proposing taxing unrealized capital gains.

He was pro-abortion in statements in 1999, flipped to anti-abortion in 2011 and has doubled-down when it seems the thing to do for himself, but has backed off many times when that seemed right ... depends on who he is trying to influence

Yes Trump can do the 'won't pass anyway' dodge too. That doesn't make it appeal to me when the Dems do it.

In the cases we are talking about now, Trump is trying to avoid a trap question, clearly. VP Harris is proposing something that other Dems are saying "don't worry blah blah." It's apples and oranges.

It's only a trap question if he actually intends to sign an abortion ban.

If they have the majorities, the congressional GOP will absolutely pass a nationwide majority ban. And Donny wouldn’t sign it? C’mon. No one is that dumb to actually believe that.

I don;t think he was pro-abortion in 1999. he was probably pro-choice. I would have remembered if he was espousing abort all babies, that is my platform.
