I guess the one bad thing about living in a solid Blue or solid Red state is we don't get any Presidential TV commercials here. So I can't comment on the substance of her broadcast ads.

Does SooPoo wish to compare and contrast the pie-in-the-sky nature of Kamala's policy proposals versus Donny's? I mean, how does Donny plan to reduce energy prices by 50%, or jail certain Democrats or Democratic supporters, like "Lawyers, Political Operatives, Donors, Illegal Voters, & Corrupt Election Officials. Those involved in unscrupulous behavior will be sought out, caught, and prosecuted at levels, unfortunately, never seen before in our Country.” ?That's a direct quote, BTW.

Here's how I'd fix the tax system to make it fair.

We take the lowest bracket people and look at how much on average the discretionary income one has left after necessary expenses. We define necessary expenses like eating, shelter etc

We discover that after necessary expense, he has only 4% of his annual income left.

THEREFORE, THE FLAT RATE FOR EVERYONE IS EVERYTHING YOU MADE BUT 4% OF YOUR ANNUAL INCOME WHICH YOU GET TO KEEP.. A FAIR FLAT TAX FOR EVERYONE

So everyone is paying the same rate. Wealthy are now paying a fair rate. They get their necessary income minus 96% of what they have left just like the lowest income bracket.

Hey, their 4% is still larger than everyone else!

He’s paying 11 billion or so this year. I think it’s likely because he is paying capital gains taxes on Tesla stock sales. It’s around 4% of his net worth. I’ll bet you never paid $15k in any single year in federal taxes. So this year Elon Musk paid as much as 700,000+ terapined’s. You and 699,999 like you.
In other words, without him, we’d have to find 700,000 more terapined’s to fund our government. Not 10. Not 100. 700,000.

You can argue, like socialists do, that that still isn’t his fair share. That he can afford to pay 20 billion. That he SHOULD pay 20 billion.
