This is actually a prime example. When bathrooms are divided up 50/50, but one gender has drastic more representation at the activity. The Army was an easy example, bathrooms would be 50/50 most facilities, but it was very male heavy (like sometimes it would be 150 men and 8 women, so huge disparity in numbers,) and the women got equal space as the men. So, men would often use the women's rooms, never any issues. Female heavy concerts, I see it all of the time, women go in the men's rooms because the lines are so much faster. This has been happening for decades, no issues. I don't think any normal person cares. Like, somebody sitting next to me in a stall is another gender, am I at risk? I honestly think going 100% unisex/shared bathrooms is the way, I hope they keep expanding in popularity. |

There are not urinals in unisex bathrooms, it is all stalls. At least that is the case everywhere I have seen. The only open space is the sinks. |

I would have to imagine a woman feeling safe if another person is in the bathroom dressed as a woman What is the % of rapes by men dressed as men as opposed to rapes by men dressed as woman 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999% |

What? I have been in many cities and countries where gender neutral bathrooms are the norm. Never heard a single woman mention they are afraid to go to the bathroom or ask others to go with them. Bathroom rapes are extremely rare, in fact statistically it almost never happens, basically they are the safest place. Of all the places to worry about men attacking you, high traffic bathrooms are not somewhere you are going to get raped or even assaulted. You are actually most likely to get raped (as a woman) in your own home. |

| missedhervee Member since: Apr 23, 2021 Threads: 158 Posts: 5471 | Why shouldn't men and women share bathrooms? With only sinks and stalls privacy should be absolute. We allow the sexes to mix in every other place, so why not unisex bathrooms? |

There is zero reason not to. They are better and more efficient in every regard. |
