Yes, worrying about the tests used to keep men out of sports or trans out of sports, or whatever, when we are on the verge of WWIII and a recession is a diversion. The olympics are over 2 years away.

What answer am I supposed to be coming up with?

You just don’t get it. I am unhappy we are in a war with Iran. I hate the loss of American lives. But still just got back from the golf course. After cuddling with wifey earlier. After walking dog before that. And different 9 holes before that. And now I’m going to do my sports betting to make enough to more than make up for whatever extra I’m paying at the pump. Life goes on. Is the ban on transgender athletes who are biologically male competing in women’s events as important as ending the Iran war? No! But it was a tiny piece of good news. I like good news.

I don’t feel like we are on the verge of WWIII. I could be wrong. But it won’t stop me from showing up at Lopez Legacy for 18 tomorrow morning.

If all one cares about is their next tee time, canoodling with the wife or whomever, and planning the route for the dog's next walk, life is swell. Donny and the war and whatever is in the news isn't going to impact that too much. But the rest of us don't live in such isolation and actually have a vested interest in things going well. Yeah, life goes on, but life would be better if the US wasn't such a sh!tshow right now.

If life goes on, and it doesn't matter who is in office, why didn't you vote for Hillary, or Biden or Kamala?

I care about ‘politics’ because of my hope for all to have a chance to have the life I’ve had. As I’ve stated, I believe the overall Democrat platform is bad for the country. So I couldn’t vote for any of the three you mention. And I agree with you that it’s unfortunate the Republican Party has deteriorated to have Trump as a leader. I don’t say it doesn’t matter who is in office. I just say I don’t let it interfere with my life.

I used to vote republican back in the day
It was a very common sense party
Then the anti vax religious right took over
Then Trump made it worse

Not transgender, but I go into a ‘Woman’s Room’ quite frequently. Golf course has small bathroom huts with two separate rooms, but one labeled as male, one female. If two or more of us are going at the same time I’ll use any open room.

Arrest me.

It’s amazing we actually think about where we piss and shit that much!
