How about PBS or is that just another right wing extremist organization. "To help them get here, Congressional Republicans relied on more than 150 suspicious activity reports as a roadmap to follow what they call the Bidens’ complicated financial money trail. The confidential reports, called SARs for short, are often routine, with larger financial transactions automatically flagged to the government. The filing of a SARs report is not evidence on its own of misconduct." "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |

The difference is Donald Trump is running for President. Hunter Biden is just a washed up junky. I am all for throwing the book at him (as with any criminal.) And, frankly I am glad the plea agreement is getting more review before being accepted. But, the two items that I think are most egregious about Hunter Biden are his illegal possession of a firearm and not paying taxes. And, these are things that the right usually applauds as "active resistance". I could almost guarantee if Trump's son had an illegal gun and did not pay his taxes two years, there would be endless defenses about how he was standing up to the corrupt system or whatever (and you know that it would be true, because there is enough evidence for right-wingers being charges with both issues in isolation that get an instant defense.) The Ukraine stuff and appointed boards is all nonsense that every political relative takes advantage of (and not even what he is being charged with.) Tale as old as time, nothing to see here. The issues are the gun possession and taxes, anyone ranting about Ukraine has the wrong priorities. But, yes people who do not pay taxes and who possess guns without the proper license and permits should go to jail for a long time. I have no issue praising this regardless of what political affiliation the individual has. |

It is pretty much established now that Joe got millions from foreign countries through Hunter while he was VP. You comfortable with that? "but if you make yourselves sheep, the wolves will eat you." Benjamin Franklin |

That is not in any of the charges. If he got money illegally and gets charged, I will happily condemn him then. Lot's of political relatives serve BS positions on foreign and domestic boards. It is a terrible state of the world, but this is the norm. Not a crime (yet.) |

And that is the whole point it was being covered up by DOJ and the FBI. It is finally coming to light as lie after lie is being exposed. First it was the laptop doesn't exist. Then it was no proof it is actually Hunter's. Then nothing on it of consequence. Then well maybe Hunter is a little shady but it doesn't involve Joe. Then well the proof isn't that solid that Joe got any of the money. Now it is obvious that Joe was getting money and you will see that next. Do you really think they would spend this level of time and scrutiny investigating tax and gun charges, but not illegal foreign activity charges? If he does get charged with something credible on that front, I will be the first to say throw the book at him. I am no fan of special privilege for anyone. But, here is the thing, you will never say this about any of the Trumps even as the indictments roll in, it will all be some big conspiracy to get him.... |

[Bolded part for emphasis] That makes it clear that this is all just hearsay coming from bitter GOP house members. Good reporting from PBS. 👍 “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

If you were really paying any attention G you would know that the judge overturned his sweet heart deal because it had a buried clause giving him immunity from any future charges on anything. Given the evidence already against him on the bagman charges the judge said that these possible future charges had nothing to do with taxes or a gun and should not be part of the agreement. Don't believe me look up her reason for yourself. I don't need to see anything about Trump because the communists on this board present that case. Direct quote from the judge: “ I have concerns about the agreement," Noreika said. "I can't let him plea to something if he thinks he has protection from something and he doesn't” I don’t read that the way you do. Bias much? "Trumpsplain (def.) explaining absolute nonsense said by TRUMP. |
