I think #28 is my fav.

It's amazing what the LeftieLoons have done. According to a psychologist they have turned an ex-president running for office again into a populist folk hero by finding him guilty of crimes he never committed, crimes that nobody can even name. What this does is appeal tremendously to minorities like blacks and Latinos because either they themselves or somebody in their family has been the subject of some kind of wrongful decision by a court. This makes Trump a folk hero to them, they can relate to him like nobody else they've ever seen run for president. I wonder if this is what the Democrats had planned all along. LOL

And according to the reports the Trump website that accepts donations has gone down twice in the last 24 hours because so many people are trying to donate. They're taking in tens of millions of dollars. No wonder Trump was smiling when they read the verdict, he knew this is going to happen.

I'd like to send a couple million.

That is true, and the is part of the amusing aspect. To be on house arrest you need a residence in the State of conviction (in most cases, I am sure there are some random exceptions that some of the resident lawyers will cite, etc....)

And, even if Trump wins the Presidency, he will be stuck with the house arrest conditions (he cannot pardon himself,) so it will be interesting to see how he accomplished this while President.

Not sure how it might work, but I heard the Supreme Court might step in if Trump becomes President and is dealing with some penalty interfering with his executive postilion.

I suppose congress could create some legislation and the court could rule on it.

Who knows. Any other idiot would have stepped aside and let other Republicans without all this baggage run for office, not put himself in a position to be voted into office.

Trump's election website took in 54 million in the first 24 hours, 1/3 of it from first time donators. Martyrdom, the gift that keeps on giving. One thing you never ever ever ever want to do if you're running for office is portray your opponent in any kind of sympathetic manner. The Democrats have done that in spades, in spades times 10, they are really that freaking stupid. Everybody else saw this coming, especially Trump. You especially don't want to do it when your candidate is extremely unpopular, and is a senile piss pants old man. LOL

I think it very unlikely such legislation would pass. Even if Republicans win a small majority in both houses, there would be enough holdouts. I am not sure if the Supreme Court could get involved, it is pretty unheard of, so it would be interesting.

If he was smart he would have stepped away (even running again while losing as an incumbent is almost unheard of because of the baggage, yes I know it happened once like 120 years ago....) But running after losing as an incumbent with multiple criminal charges in madness. The sad part is he actually has a chance to win because his supporters are so tribal.

Your 'Lefties' and we foreigners are generally aware of Biden's weaknesses. Yes! The guy is clearly too old and he makes his share of cock-ups. Maybe it's true that he's a bit pervy and creepy.
But NOTHING. NOTHING comes close to the failures of psychopath drumph, who has already declared his intentions for a second term. Just as his first term was about wrecking everything achieved by Obama, just out of spite, so a second term would be about blind revenge against everyone that has opposed him in any way. He grumbles about a weaponised Judicial system. What weaponising might be in his plan, if/when he becomes dictator? He openly proclaims it. He's spent eight years now on the receiving end of investigations and prosecutions. He aspires to wreak revenge and to hell with collateral damage.

Some members, here, would vote for him because they 'did ok, in spite of his 'foibles'' during his first term. I can understand that. They need to realise that under dictator drumph, none of you is safe. Your system of government is under attack. Don't expect any loyalty from him. Don't expect any observance of his Oath of Office.

Come on Democrats: Get your act together.
