On a general note…. I am surprised more trials don’t end in hung juries. If I was a juror, after hearing the evidence, and then closing arguments, I am pretty sure I’d make a decision. I can’t really imagine ‘jury deliberations’ would change my mind. So unless it’s an easy one (12-0 from the start)…..

Lots of criminals testify honestly and put people away.

Your post is a bizarre interpretation of my post! Where in my post do you find me believing or not believing if Trump actually committed alleged crimes? I’m trying to sift through if the prosecution has done enough to convince the 12 jurors (that were picked by both the defense and prosecution) to convict him. I stand by my comment. You admit you stole from the defendant because you felt he underpaid you, your testimony’s veracity is under question.

I believe Trump’s ‘crime’ is analogous to Clinton’s with Monica Lewinsky. A man trying to cover up an extra marital affair. As I said, it technically is likely a crime, but this prosecution is certainly more driven by politics than Justice.

So, I assume the Georgia trial will go on with the other accused even if Trump becomes President and wouldn't be there? And he can't pardon them.

Character doesn't matter as much in a democracy as long as you have checks and balances still working. But if they fail it's too late then. Trump has done his best to not honor the checks and balances. We've already seen that and still seeing it.
