I can only think of one Senate Majority Leader that has done so. Chuck Schumer. To my knowledge he will not be running for President.

Schumer admitted he spoke too harshly and said this. Schumer does not support violence. Schumer was referring to Roevember :-)

I wonder if the bookies of the world are taking bets now as to if , when, and for what will the orange oaf be indicted and convicted?

Which of the four pending investigations will first result in an indictment / charges filed first, and which if any will first result in a conviction?

Me, I am hoping they excoriate him in Georgia: regardless, they've quite a palette to choose from.

I’ll give you an analogy.

‘’I didn’t mean to break her jaw. How was I to know that could be a result of punching her in the face?”

But at least Schumer, when confronted with his egregious mistake, admitted it and apologized. Democrats tend to be better at that than Republicans. Google the story about the low level Oklahoma Republican just bagged for public drunkenness/disorderly conduct.
